SUPPORTING WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESSES IN MITROVICA

On 16^th of June, a group of 55 women entrepreneurs’ from the both sides of the Ibar River convened in the Cultural Center in Mitrovica South Municipality in the fair for women in business and B2B activity.

This event was organized by Community Building Mitrovica and NGO Inspiracija, within the project ‘’Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship in Mitrovica’’ that aims to empower women who lead or own small businesses, and foster communication and cooperation between women entrepreneurs’ from South and North Mitrovica.

With a forward-looking focus, the fair and BtB activity provided the women entrepreneurs’ with the opportunity to present their products and services for the fair visitors, thus establish contact with new consummators. Whilst one of the most important components of the fair and B2B activity was also the inter-ethnic  engagement element, as throughout  the project implementation and with this concrete activity it was enabled for women entrepreneurs from Mitrovica South and North to initiate mutual contact and networking.
