We had the chance to volunteer full-time with CBM, M-Magazine and m-i2 for three months in summer 2011 (July-September). Our stay was funded by the German youth program ASA and the German “Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (giz)”.

We had a very good stay in Mitrovica which allowed us to see and learn so much about the life in Kosovo and the work of a well-established multi-ethnic NGO. During our internship, we were able to implement a variety of tasks: we organized and conducted a 2-days workshop on project management for participants of the youth project m-i2. Furthermore, we held a briefing on EU project proposal writing and we were involved in designing projects and writing project proposals to the European Commission and other donors, one of which was successfully awarded funding. Other tasks were in the field of web technology, such as updating M-Magazine's and CBM's website or registering M-Magazine at Google and Google News; besides that, we also supported M-Magazine during the daily work.
