CBM participating in a second Global GCERF Community of Practice event

The topic of this year's GCERF global Community of Practice event was "How can the Private Sector help build local resilience to violent extremism." CBM participated in an online event, that gathered more than 55 GCERF grantees and people engaged in the prevention of violent extremism. CBM presented one of its successful and strong examples; namely, under GCERF program implementation, CBM achieved cooperation with Mitrovica – based companies that opened 10 6-months internship spots for 10 vulnerable youth, after which 6 interns were offered full-time employment. This is only one of the positive stories under the implementation of the prevention of violence and extremism program.
