Project Objective

Contribute to Peace and reconciliation by integrating Transitional Justice and Peace Building Program in High Education in Kosovo

Targeted Beneficiaries

Students of the faculty of Law in Pristina

Students from different ethnic background from entire Kosovo

Main Activities

• Organise university course on Transitional Justice,
• Organize two Study visits for the students in Serbia;
• Two exchange visits for the professors of the Human Rights Center of the Oslo University and UP in Kosovo,
• Enhancement of the Library resources,
• MA program developed and initiated for approval at the university procedures and accreditation procedures,
• Internship program/practical placements,
• Organize one, two-day, International Conference on Transitional Justice,
• Produce needs assessment of the study programs to assess the actual study programs contribute to peace building and transitional justice processes,
• Transitional Justice Resource Center web page.

Project results

• Provided course in Transitional Justice and Peace Building involving up to 100 students.
• Developed MA program on Human Rights, Transitional Justice and Peace building at the University of Prishtina and initiated accreditation of the study program.
