RESULTS OF THE CIVIL SOCIETY CATALYTIC FUND FOR THE SECOND CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSALS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The best project ideas drafted by CSOs - Mitrovica Region Monitoring Team members, who participated in the Project Development Workshop, were chosen as Civil Society Catalytic Fund winners. Total of nine (9) organizations which successfully fulfilled the requirements of drafting the concept notes have submitted the full project proposals. Four (4) have been selected as winners of the second CSCF call for proposals.

Since each project proposal applied in partnership with another Mitrovica region CSO, a total of 8 CSOs will benefit from this call, and the project implementation will impact each of the seven Mitrovica region municipalities (Mitrovica North, Mitrovica South, Vučitrn/Vushtrri, Leposavić/Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, Srbica/Skenderaj and Zvečan/Zveqan). The projected impact of this call is to strengthen civil society efforts to increase local government citizen participation and accountability, with activities including public mobilization, state-citizen dialogues, monitoring and reporting on local government performance, local policy research and analysis, and development of specific citizen participation and accountability measures within the aforementioned municipalities.

Independent five-member Review Panel has evaluated, graded and selected each of the submitted project ideas, within the framework of the Inclusive Development Programme and Guidelines shared as part of the CSCF application package.

Total funding available for supporting the drafted ideas within the second CSCF call is 100 000 € (approximately).
