Group of students from Japan visited CBM.

On 11th of September 2015 a group of Japanese students from University Keio visited Community Building Mitrovica. Students are part of SAL program (Send out, Aid, Learn) how they would learn more about Mitrovica and to present it to the wider community in Japan.

The students were very interested to learn about the social life and political situation in North and South Mitrovica for the last 15 years. The work of Community Building Mitrovica the relations between Serbs and Albanians working in CBM, how CBM managed from 2001 through the work to reconciliation process, bring people together, rebuild inter-ethnic confidence between communities, support communities to communicate, situation in the city, the division etc were the topic of this presentation and discussion between CBM Serb and Albanian representatives and the students.

After the discussion the group was very satisfied with what they learned for the CBM work and the context on the field on which CBM works.
