First day of Civic Education School

CBM started with the implementation of Civic Education Schools in Mitrovica, which are designed to build soft and professional skills and encourage personal development and growth.

Participants will be engaged in interactive discussions related to topics of history, human rights, civil society, and volunteerism.

In the first day of Civic Education School, the participants were introduced to each other and the program of the School.

Teachers who are participating in directing the Civic Education School are Donjeta Rexha and Arjeta Fejza. The first topic that students were introduced to was active listening, after which they participated in their first discussion on its importance. The teachers approached the discussion with activities and games, as is part of the educational strategy of the Civic Education Schools.

The program will engage participants to implement small community projects in order to encourage volunteerism and foster a culture of civic activism.

The activity is part of the program “Building Strong and Resilient Communities in Mitrovica” implemented by CBM, Mundësia, and ODK, supported by GCERF.
