Establishing Memorandum of Understanding between MRMT and Skenderaj/Srbica Municipality

Community Building Mitrovica Good Governance Program Manager Ms.Florentina Hajdari Hajra, Mitrovica Region Monitoring Team representative from NGO Prehja Mr.Jeton Rushiti and Skenderaj/Srbica Municipality Deputy Mayor Mr.Fadil Nura today signed the Memorandum of Understanding within the “Civil Society is watching you: demand for accountability and transparency on local level’’ project.

This MoU will contribute in building up a good cooperation between local institutions and CSOs, and contributing to enabling environment for NGOs to smoothly perform their watch-dog activities in the future. Thus the MoU establishment shows the commitment of  the Skenderaj Municipality to increase the transparency and openness to CSOs to perform its role of constructive corrector of the wrongdoings – its watch-dog role.
