For the purposes of project acitivities and social media outreach. the #RCT activity is looking for One intern, for a paid internship. 

Overall Objective of the Activity

The intern will be engaged in assisting the project activities and the general visibility of the Reconciliation and Conflict Transformation (#RCT) Activity. The purpose of the Reconciliation and Conflict Transformation (#RCT) Activity in Kosovo is to address current reconciliation needs between different ethnic groups in Kosovo on the individual, community, and institutional levels. This will be achieved through building personal and collective awareness on the need to transform understanding of others, prioritizing shared values and approaches, as well as transforming co-existence into shared future social cohesion of all people in the country.

Purpose of the Assignment 

General Assistance, content creation, content management, and outreach of the Reconciliation and Conflict Transformation (#RCT) activities official social media platforms to further strengthen the #RCT’s online visibility, and further outreach to the wider audience.

Duties and Responsibilities

 The intern will be engaged in the following:

• General Assistance of the project staff;
• Writing content for the website and social media; FB, Instagram, Twitter;
• Translation of the content from English into Serbian;
• Taking pictures of the implemented activities;
• Creation of weekly content calendar – Developing content to generate engagement among social media followers;
• Developing articles from the implemented activities, i.e. gatherings, meetings, workshops, etc.;
• Working together with communications officer on developing press releases, promotion of the project, pamphlets, video documentation, etc.;
• Accomplish other tasks as required by the project team.

Competencies

Experience and knowledge:

• Satisfactory level of English language knowledge, both oral and written;
• Ability to develop articles to match the project requirements which will be achieved jointly with the RCT communications officer;
• Ability to develop the content independently and within the team;
• Ability to perform tasks to meet the deadlines;
• Ability to attend project activities in Mitrovica north, Mitrovica south, and Mitrovica region if necessary;
• Ability to communicate in Serbian/Bosnian is mandatory.

Professionalism: 

• Demonstrates professional competence and mastery of subject matter.

Evaluation and Selection Process 

The selected candidates will be invited for an interview and will be asked to write short postings in their spoken and English language, and be tested in their translation skills as per the above mentioned duties and responsibilities. Upon the evaluation, the candidates will be informed about the decision via email.
