Peace and Conflict studies students from Germany visit CBM

CBM welcomed about 20 students of Peace and Conflict Studies from Philipps-University Marburg, Germany.

The group is spending a one week study trip in Kosovo. After meeting several state institutions like the German Embassy and the GIZ in Prishtina, they were particularly interested in learning more about the work of local NGOs in Kosovo.
Visiting CBM and Mitrovica was an opportunity to experience a Civil Society Organization’s work in a city which is most affected by the instable political situation in Kosovo. In this occasion students had the opportunity to learn more about the city of Mitrovica, the work of CBM as a well known multiethnic NGO in the region and the projects that are currently being implemented.

After walking around the city and having a nice dinner, the group left Mitrovica in the evening, taking lots of thoughts and impressions with them.
