STREET ART MARKED MARCH 8TH – INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY IN MITROVICA

Access program students within Community Building Mitrovica have joint the action organized by young artists from Futja Ngjyrë and Žuta kompanija who marked International Women’s Day in Mitrovica.

Community Building Mitrovica was one of the supporters of this action, and also participated through Access Program students that backed the activity by distributing flyers and stickers to spread the message of the day and call to action for accelerating gender equality.

The young artists have painted murals in Mitrovica North and Mitrovica South, carrying a strong message with the quote from the Nobel Peace Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai: “We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back”.
