Trainings for 100 Women from Mitrovica within the Project ‘’Supportive Business Environment for Women Start-Ups in North and South Mitrovicë/a” began

On 20^th and 21^st of November the first round of trainings within the project ‘’Supportive business environment for women start-ups in North and South Mitrovicë/a” began.

These last two days  women from Mitrovica both North and South were trained on business planning, marketing and sales. The set of trainings includes four cycles which participants need to pass in order to have the possibility to apply for grants in range of 2,500 – 7,000 €. Within these trainings 100 women will be engaged.

Major objective of the project is to contribute sustainable economic and social improvement of North & South Mitrovica through inclusion of women in private sector development, and establishment of supporting business environment for women start-up entrepreneurs in Mitrovica. Main activities of the project are addressed on the improvement of thecapacities of women to successfully establish and run their own businesses, provision of sub-grants for product/service development of women start-up entrepreneurs in North and South Mitrovicë/a and development of mechanism for provision of sustainable support to women entrepreneurs through mentoring, consultancy and support over web platform.

Project “Supportive business environment for women start-ups in North and South Mitrovicë/a” is funded by European Union Office in Kosovo, co-financed by Mitrovica South Municipality and MOTT Foundation. This project is implemented by Community Building Mitrovica in partnership with D&G Solutions.
