ACCESS PROGRAM STUDENTS FROM MITROVICA MEET REGIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE OFFICER

‘English Access Microscholarship Program’ students from North and South Mitrovica hosted Regional English Language Officer, Ms. Jen MacArthur and representatives of U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, in a joint class held at the IBCM premises.

The topic upon which was discussed in this activity organized as part of the regular table curriculum, was the ‘’American Families’’. Thus the students shared their thoughts on how do they define their own families (traditional or modern ones), the things that they like to do with their families, how they understand different types of families, etc. Within this joint class, the young people from two Municipalities exchanged and had the chance to learn more for one - another family backgrounds, as well as for the American families. The guests also contributed with their input on the classroom discussions.

The ‘English Access Microscholarship Program’ is funded by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and implemented by Community Building Mitrovica.
