CBM with partners helps the Economic Development in Mitrovica

Community Building Mitrovica and D&G Solutions NGO opened new premises of Business Accelerator Facility of North Kosovo an EU Funded Project Managed by the European Union Office in Kosovo, together with representatives of EU, local authorities and partners. Opening Ceremony took place in BAF premises at Rudarske Cete 83 in Mitrovica North. 

"I am very pleased that today we are here in Mitrovica, opened this office, which is very important for the development of Mitrovica and for the people who live in this region. The Office supports all companies and organizations working in this area. What is important is that all people who want to start a business, they can come here on a variety of consulting, support, and we're very glad that we can help, "said Christoph Stock, Representative of European Union Office in Kosovo.

On behalf of the organizers Mr.Dragan Tomić addresed to the guest and stated "We have a set of training that are available, an extraordinary package of consultation, and most important of all we have a competition in best business plans. There we have a certain budget that will be distributed in the form of grants contestants who will be presented the best business plan," 

The overall objective of the project is to support socio-economic development and creation of positive economic setup in North Kosovo, strengthen local businesses and investment opportunities, and so to boost up local employment opportunities. The specific project objective is to initiate and support the development of business accelerator facility (BAF), to increase the entrepreneurship potential of the North Kosovo region, and to contribute to labour-market integration of women and youth.
