Opening of the project ‘’Youth is monitoring you’’ supported by Community Building Mitrovica

Within the call for project proposal ‘’Monitoring of the local institutions, Lobbying and advocacy’’ of the project “Civil Society is watching you: demand for accountability, transparency on local level” - Koha Movement was one of the NGOs granted, and today officially opened the project ‘’Youth is monitoring you’’.

Present in the opening of the project that is gone be implemented till February were representatives of local institutions, different youth organizations, other non-formal groups and project officer of the project “Civil Society is watching you’’ - Milivoje Raicevic.

Project ‘’Youth is monitoring you’’ will be implemented in the city of Mitrovica and Vushtrri and consists in monitoring of the respective Municipality Assemblies, Directorate for Culture, Youth and Sport and Directorate for Education of the above mentioned Municipalities. In the end of the monitoring process Koha Movement will issue reports which will inform citizens on the issues especially related to youth, identified from monitoring and accordingly put pressure on local authorities for more transparency, accountability and the prioritization of youth.

“Civil Society is watching you: demand for accountability, transparency on local level” is funded and managed by the European Office Union in Kosovo and Co-funded by Austrian Development Agency, the Netherlands Embassy in Prishtina and MOTT Foundation and implemented by Community Building Mitrovica.
