The work for Mitrovica Region Monitoring Team strategic planning document continues

Community Building Mitrovica organized workshop for the continuation of the Strategic Planning for Mitrovica Region Monitoring Team (MRMT).

This activity was continuation of the two day workshop for the creation of strategy planning document of MRMT that was held in August 2015. During this meeting with the members of MRMT, that are also representatives of different NGOs from Mitrovica Region was discussed about the objectives of this strategic planning document.

Mitrovica Region Monitoring Team (MRMT)  a network of  CSOs, is an upgrade of the  Mitrovica Monitoring Team (MMT),  and has  three main roles in the process of developing a sustainable model for a ‘watchdog’ role of civil society to hold local institutions accountable and transparent.Primary intends to help in the implementation of the monitoring methodology.Secondly, trained and experienced CSOs, members of MRMT, will serve as a resource group for capacity building of other CSOs (other MRMT members and CSOs that are not part of MRMT). And thirdly MRMT will act as a partner to local institutions in increasing transparency.expertise

This activity was conducted in the framework of the project “Civil Society is watching you: demand for accountability and transparency on local level”. An EU funded project managed by European Union Office and co-founded by Austrian Development Agency, The Netherlands Embassy in Pristina and MOTT Foundation.
