Within the project ‘’Our Matters’’ activities continue

In the framework of the project “Our Matters” implemented by Community Building Mitrovica, NGO “Center for Women Development” organized street action performance on the main square in North Mitrovica together with 20 young volunteers of NGO ‘’YEC Synergy’’.

The aim of the action was to contribute to Gender equality and improvement of the women position from all communities living in North Mitrovica, as well as to raise awareness of this issue and identify possible solutions and ways for its improvement.
During the street action volunteers painted graffiti promoting Gender equality, distributed promotional material (400 leaflets and 100 posters), and invited citizens to participate in the upcoming public debate.
Promotional materials contained slogan addressing the issue together with the details of the organization of debate. Citizens had the opportunity to express their opinion related to the Gender Equality in North Mitrovica by taking a short survey (200 questionnaires) which was disseminated during the street action.
