Community Building Mitrovica with partners BFPE and PIPS organized 5th study visit in Peja, Kosovo

Within the project "Promoting employment of the youth through social partnership and cooperation" the 5th study visit was held in Peja, Kosovo with participants from local institutions, civil society and business background.

The main topic of the seminar was business community and responsibility of social corporations. During the seminar various places were visited. On the first day participants visited NGO Syri i Vizionit where they had the chance to get information regarding civil society work in Peja. Second day visit was focused in industrial zone of Peja. ELKOS Group representatives hosted participants and shared their experience mainly speaking regarding employers, factories and economic development. During the seminar important round table was held regarding employment challenges in Peja. To conclude the seminar a workshop took place in order to encourage local partnership in youth employment.

Project goal is to connect local self-governments, business sector and civil society organisations from 6 cities/municipalities (Nis, Vranje, Leskovac, Mitrovica, Peja and Prizren) in dealing with youth employment through exchange of creative new ideas and best practises, as well as implementation of social dialogue and cooperation mechanisms on local level.
