Info – session regarding grant scheme within BAF project

Community Building Mitrovica and NGO ‘’D&G Solutions’’ organized info-session regarding grant scheme in the framework of the project Business Accelerator Facility of Municipalities in the North of Kosovo.This activity took place in the BAF and CBM premises, and participants were informed elaborately for the grant scheme.

Namely the recipients will not receive money, but support in equipment, materials or other supplies (valued between 3.000 and 7.000 €) that they need for the realization of the proposed business idea. The sub-grants will not be limited to any specific sector, but the decision will be made by the external committee using evaluating criteria that depict the feasibility, uniqueness and sustainability of the business idea. The Sub-grant scheme will be opened for women and youth from Municipalities in the North of Kosovo.

The overall objective of the project is to support socio-economic development and creation of positive economic setup in the Municipalities in the North of Kosovo, strengthen local businesses and investment opportunities, and so to boost up local employment opportunities. The specific project objective is to initiate and support the development of business accelerator facility (BAF), to increase the entrepreneurship potential of the Northern Municipalities of Kosovo, and to contribute to labor-market integration of women and youth. Business Accelerator Facility of Municipalities in the North of Kosovo is an EU Funded Project managed by the European Union Office in Kosovo and co-founded by Spark.
