NOTIFYING PRESS RELEASE: CBM WILL ORGANIZE CONFERENCE FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS

On November 25^th, 2016 - Community Building Mitrovica will organize a Conference within the project ‘’Supportive Business Environment for women start-ups in North and South Mitrovica’’. This project implementation started 2 years ago by Community Building Mitrovica in partnership with D&G Solutions - and is supported by EU Office in Kosovo, co-financed by Municipality of Mitrovica South and MOTT Foundation.

The main objective of the project is to contribute to sustainable economic and social improvement of North & South Mitrovica through inclusion of women in private sector development.

In the framework of this project several result have been achieved, as: the creation of women entrepreneurs network; 100 women participants of the project received trainings in various business fields; 33 women of this project have been granted in the amount of more than 112,000.00EUR, at least 20 women that participated in the project have been self-employed, while during the project implementation consultancy and mentoring was provided for the women project participants by business experts.

At this stage Community Building Mitrovica is in the preparation phase of the:

1.Conference ''Women in Business’’– that will bring panelists from local and central institutions, CSO’s, women beneficiaries and women entrepreneurs to discuss institutional support for women in business, and challenges and opportunities for women entrepreneurs. During this event  video documentary of women beneficiaries of the project ‘’Supportive Business Environment for women start-ups in North and South Mitrovica’’ will be also screened. The event will take place on November 25^th(Friday), 2016 starting from 10:00hrs at the premises of RDA North, Mitrovicë/a. The Conference will be attended by representatives of national and local institutions, donors, local and international organizations representatives, media, etc.
